Trump TV

We’re told Donald Trump’s appeal is “strength.” But twice this week unforgiving cameras showed what really lies beneath: weakness or even, shall we say, impotence.

In Fayetteville, a white Trump supporter punched a black protestor. The attacker said, “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him.”

Protest must be punished. Dissenters must be beaten. Or killed.

You saw what propels Trump: rage and race.

But most revealing was Trump himself in his rambling, boasting, self-pitying and self-revealing speech/press conference Tuesday night.

He bragged about Trump steaks, Trump wine, Trump water, Trump magazine, Trump golf courses and even Trump’s own golf game. He complained about “nasty” attacks against him. He compared himself to Abe Lincoln.

No comment is necessary. Watch it yourself.

Critics complained that the networks aired all 40-some minutes, instead of Hillary Clinton’s speech.

No, it’s good they showed Trump in full. Because you see that the man has an almost pathetic need to prove himself. He looked like someone desperate to overcome deep-seated insecurities and inadequacies.

It also looks like his hands ARE really small.
