Like a lot of politicians, Governor McCrory wants to blame somebody else for all things bad and claim credit for all things good. Yesterday, he set a land speed record by doing both within a matter of minutes.
First, speaking to a business group, he claimed credit for North Carolina’s unemployment rate dropping 2 percent last year. Then, talking to reporters right after his speech, he blamed the Perdue administration and Obamacare for DHHS’ Medicaid-mailing disaster last week.
We feel compelled to ask: If he can get an entire state economy straightened out in just one year, why doesn’t he fix DHHS?

From this point forward, there can never again be any Democrat at any level that can out do Obama on " Its the earlier guy's fault". World champ, and the Emmy for lies goes to, " Obama "

I had to go search around to find what McCrory said that's got Gary's panties all in a bunch here. And, lo and behold, I found it. Yep...looks like Gary's right and McCrory did, in fact, say that the problems with the computer that was used to get those addresses to mail out the Medicaid cards by the State DHHS came from issues/programming that was in place when he took office.

Now, if it was me and if I was the Guv, I'd have just said that "this problems was as a result of faulty computer programming the DHHS was unaware of and all steps are being taken to correct that". END OF STORY.

What is it about politicians and feet and mouths? I think it's a disease going around...and it seems to be "catching".

Here's a link showing what happened actually and what McCrory said. No, don't think they've fixed the Front Page here so that you can just click on a link from we lowly people that comment here, so you'll have to copy it then paste it to your browser line.

That crappy computer is a result of a scandalous contract with insiders and political cronyism during Democrat administrations. Its programming is outdated. It had huge cost overruns and many delays. The media ignored all of that when it was going on because it would have embarassed the Democrats. Now when the McCrory administration is stuck with a crappy computer setup, they suddenly pay attention.
