Carter and I finally got elected to something ourselves – sort of. Talking About Politics was named one of the best North Carolina political blogs by The Fix at the Washington Post.

Best of all, we were nominated by readers. We thank you.

REPUBLICANS LOVE WAR?
IRAQ was a Republican war all the way
935 lies were recorded as lies that led us to invade.
Republican pals Halliburton and KBR got no bid contracts.
CBO states we have spent $767Billion in Iraq.
Republicans promoted invasion of Afghanistan a 12 year invasion.
Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 terrorists acts.
Afghanistan let OBL train in isolation in mountains to remove dictators.
One person responsibility--- thousands of innocents died.
Republicans gave their rich pals a huge tax cut during war an unheard of act.
Republicans doubled our debt in just eight years of reckless spending and borrowing.
Republicans increased our Spending by 90% and Debt by 112% in just eight years.
Republicans repeal of Glass-Steagall let 10 banks take over 80% of all deposits in about 7000 banks
Republicans allowed destruction of Housing Industry and Financial Industry.
Now, they want to cut things that hep the middle class and poor in a Sequester.
Their rich pals have done just fine.
Republican party is still the “Country Club” party.
Democrats care for the Middle Class and poor.
Blame Obama.

Why do you put these kinds of remarks on Front Page threads that have absolutely NOTHING to do with what you're saying? We have a "Forum" here on TAP. Put those remarks there so we can banter them around, swinney.

Sure, anyone that reads what you post knows it's just a regurgitation from emails or radical sites you are signed on to...but, at least on the Forum, we can get it out there and discuss it. People on blogsites don't tend to respond to diatribes that don't relate to the "issue at hand".

Maybe you're not capable of arguing your points so shy away from any kind of discussion that might show how ludicrous and totally inaccurate some of your so-called facts are.
