President Obama just announced the Sequester spending cuts are so terrible he has no choice but to cancel White House tours;---that upset House Speaker John Boehner who immediately cried foul, saying Obama was grandstanding and he (Boehner) had kept the Capitol tours running and Obama could have done the same thing – which is no doubt true but misses the point.

Obama made a cut. And a pretty painless cut. No one will go hungry. No one will go without medical care. No great harm will be done to anyone. So why didn’t Speaker Boehner simply shrug and say, Well, that’s unfortunate but the world won’t end without White House tours.

Floating beneath all this Washington chatter is a simple question: Is it possible politicians will be voted out of office for cancelling a tour – or is this a sign politicians are so weak-kneed they can’t take even a little ‘heat’ over a painless cut?

I just absolutely LOVE this. I mean, is there ANYTHING more absurd than cancelling the White House tours by saying it is because of "sequestration"????

I mean, somehow our government is able to find $15 million for PakistaN AND $50 Million for new TSA uniforms and $250 million to give out to Egypt.

And, all of this by saying the "sequestration" is why White House tours have been cancelled....and tours are given by VOLUNTEERS!!!!!

We're being so duped and so many "low-information" people are buying the bull being done by this administration, it's absolutely amazing...totally ludacrous. What in the heck is wrong with our country? Is getting "freebies" THAT important? My goodness.

The dummie playing the part of house speaker really picked a battle to fight. Rand Paul is trying to get a statement on killing Americans on American soil by a President, and Bohner fights to keep the white house open to school children's tours. Thank God Boner is running the house.
