In the end the Republican Convention came down to two lines: Clint Eastwood saying, “When somebody doesn’t do the job, you gotta let ‘em go.”

And Mitt Romney saying, “Obama wants to save the planet – I want to help your family.”

All the rest – the political rhetoric – was window dressing. The bottom line was Obama hasn’t done his job, the country’s paid the price, and it’s time to replace him.

That leaves President Obama in a hard spot. Next week at the Democratic Convention he can argue the last four years could have been worse. And he can argue Mitt Romney will make the next four years worse. But he can’t argue with the fact that, after four years in office, his Presidency is a failure.

Obama and the dems will argue this....the republicans have blocked each and every kind of "fix" the democrats wanted to get done. They will argue that Bush left them in such a horrible mess that it will take more than 4 years to fix it. They will argue that each and every remedy by the republicans is only about helpin the rich get richer, the minorities to be more and more subservient and women not given a chance because of republicans.

Wait and see. If you don't see this as what they say, what they present, what they push...then I'm living on some other planet. Who here, democrat or republican alike, doesn't know that's what is going to be what the speakers at the democratic convention present?

And, if that's bought by the people in America...the voters...we're doomed.
