This is why people turn off television news.
A couple of weeks ago, Rep. Becky Carney’s miscast vote led to enactment of the fracking bill.
This week, WSOC-TV in Charlotte breathlessly reported: “Now, for the first time, Rep. Becky Carney is telling only Channel 9 what went wrong.”
Not exactly, WSOC. Rep. Carney pretty much told every reporter in the Legislative Building what happened right after it happened.
Maybe the news is just getting to the newsroom in Charlotte. That’s how they stay so classy.
