This one is circulating on the Internet:

Donald Rumsfeld briefed the President this morning. He told Bush that three Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq.  To everyone's amazement, all of the color ran from Bush's face. Then he collapsed onto his desk, head in hands, visibly shaken, almost whimpering.

Finally, he composed himself and asked Rumsfeld, "Just exactly how many is a brazillion?

When I first discovered this site, I thought it was just what we needed--two veteran North Carolina political operatives sharing their views and insight into state politics. It could have been a true public service.

Unfortunately the site has become a joke since Mr. Pearce became so consumed with hatred for President Bush. He hasn't posted a serious, rational comment now in months. It's a shame, because we could really use a blog for grown-ups focused on state politics.

Come on guys. You have to be able to poke fun at yourself to have the tough skin to take on the Democrats.

Bush has a bit of Sonny Bono in him. People laughed at him but in the end they all learned that Sonny was crazy like a fox.

The 24 hour news media would like to do backflips over every death. If it bleeds it leads is the common saying. I respect the sacrifices of each soldier, but in the end a military commander must put the troops in harm's way and even command them to their death.

You can't walk away from a chess game when five peices have been lost but you sure can lose with only five peices gone if you have not been forcefull enough with the remaining peices.

I would have engauged Iraq even harsher than W. I would have started by bombing every site that inspectors were not allowed into. No advance warning.. just remove them.

Yes there wiould have been civilian casualties because it was a surprise. I would accept responsibility for that because if you gave the advance warning, the materials in question would have been put in a van and driven elsewhere.

The nature of the situation requires decisive action.

Mark these words... If the Democrats win they will withdraw. Saddam will be President *AGAIN* and everything will be far more dangerous. He will play nice and not be threatening until the Democrats lose power and then there will be a mushroom cloud over Israel.

On second thought, he will backstab the Democrats and there will be a musroom cloud over Israel.

I go through all the liberal arguements on braxtonperry.blogspot.com
