Interesting that Gary has presented here on TAP something Carter has said and supposedly believes twice now in the past few days. And, also interesting just how much Gary is following everything that is going on within the republican aparatus in our fair state. If he keeps this up, he could very well become one of the GOP's best historians....at least for the time period that began when the republicans took over the majority in the North Carolina legislature and, of course, the governorship. And, of course we all know that he's going to be very fair and open minded about how the republicans do since taking over from decades and decades of democratic rule in the state.

I read a statement recently on a conservative web site I'd rather not name that I really liked. I'm paraphrasing here, but the guy said that republicans know they're doing the right thing when they draw fire from the left.

Well, just about everything the republicans are doing right now in North Carolina is drawing fire from the left. From my perspective, that is an indication that they're doing what truly needs to be done for our state.

Oh, and all the posts against Art Pope? I've never seen so many cry babies in my life. Every time I read James Protzman from Bluenc.com say that Art Pope is really the governor and every time I read things like Gary has posted here about him, I grin from ear-to-ear.

The first rule of warfare is to know your enemy. Gary and the Dems have constructed an avatar of their Republican foes that bears little resemblance to the real thing. Now it appears that they have fallen into the trap they set for their own gullible followers--they've begun to believe their own lies.
