ENTITLEMENT CRITICS
SOCIAL SECURITY is praised worldwide as the very best program.
I gladly paid a little for 35 years for a small pension. I appreciate it.
It pays it's way. Since 1981, the government has borrowed 2700 Billion from it.
It draws interest on those securities.
The top rate can be increased as needed to keep it solvent for decades.
A change to tax “all” income will do much to keep it solvent.
Gambling in derivatives should be taxed. It is usually simple one on one betting.
Such actions adds nothing to our Standard Of Living.
MEDICARE is pay your way. The problem for 50 years has been rising costs.
The World Health Forum ranks us 37% on Efficiency in Health Care yet we pay far more than most efficient. President's audit team has gotten billions in fines and paybacks from overcharges.
VETERAN ADMINISTRATION. Yes! They earned our upkeep for fighting our wars.
Try criticizing benefits to top 10% for such as tax breaks, refunds, etc.

Isn't it a shame that in our country today we have to offer things that are totally against all of our immigration laws so as to gain political support? Any other country ON EARTH doing that? Of course not.

The democrats know that if they offer up work permits that aren't actually within our immigration law and quick paths to citizenship for the massive numbers of illegal Mexicans in our country, they'll be seen as their "savior" and will get the lion's share of that vote. Now, from what I'm reading, they're offering up that for most other immigrants....Asians, Eastern Europeans, Southeast Asians and especially muslims from everywhere around the world...they're going to continue their political hold on America. Ah, yes....America. That's what our country is called, but it ain't even CLOSE to what it was meant to be. Guess we'll all have to duck and dodge all of these new culture additions here and change our way of life to "accomodate" them because, hey, we don't want to be seen as a country that has it's own culture and heritage and way of life. No way, y'all. America is where everyone can come and change it to suit their own particular beliefs and cultures.

God help my children and grandchildren.

There is a precedent of a country that found it expedient to avert its eyes from what was happening along its border for a couple of generations. The country I'm thinking of had a pressing need for immigrants to settle and develop a far-flung territory that few of its own citizens cared to venture into, so for a couple of decades government policy was to ignore the influx of illegal immigration and hope for the best. That country was Mexico, and that territory was Texas. By ignoring the threat of illegal immigration Mexico lost not only Texas but California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and a chunk of Colorado--not to mention thousands of lives, and a good deal of its national pride.
