Actually, I now want Gary Johnson to win. No, I don't care what the odds are. I will never put party ahead of principle. That is how we got big government Republicans in the first place, because no matter what they actually do, they know they'll get reelected anyway. Go team!

The GOP does not want my vote, even though they could have had it.

I see Tea's delima. An Obama win would produce the great train wreck. At that point the country, while almost destroyed, would have a chance to do a 180 and become a constitutional republic it once was. A Romney win, better in some ways, will continue the slow decline towards the train wreck. Tea is 100% correct, Romney isn't going to turn around a thing, he will only slow down the decline. None of them can quit spending. It doesn't matter how much money they have or where it comes from, rich, poor, middle class, it doesn't matter, if they get their hands on it they will spend it. I am amazed at how few people understand this one fact.

Hey Choo....yeah, I'm not exactly a huge Romney fan either. And, I too see Tea's dilemna. I think Tea believes that if America goes totally tits-up, we can then kind of start all over again and rebuild what our founding fathers wanted America to be in the first place.....kind of a fresh start by getting rid of all of our RINOs and career politicians that are more interested in themselves and their own careers than what's good for America. I see his point...I really do. I just don't know if, in our current culture, we'd ever recover from what he's suggesting. Would I like to see a total revamp of our government? Youbetcha. Just not sure if this is how to get-r-done, y'know?

In any case and in the mean time, Romney is the only alternative we've got vs what Obama's vision is for a future socialistic state. But, hey, what do I know? I'm just Joe Citizen sitting out here knowing damn good and well what we've got right now isn't working and is not how America was meant to become.

With a candidate like Obama, those polled are concerned that if they say they will vote for Romney and not Obama, will be considered a racist. People may go in a voting booth and do whatever, but in public no one wants to appear racist. The media along with Hollywood has already made that very clear, if you are not for Obama, you are racist. When that phone rings, they are not going to find this household a racist one. If this applys to only 3 or 4 % it could make a very big difference. You can be racist in the voting booth, but not in public. Could we soon be in line with the unions with " Card Check", no private vote.

I am signed on to two liberal blogsites...both of which are extremely big and both of which are extremely "progressive"/liberal. I often question what is posted and I often question the Front Page diaries that are totally and absolutely pro-Obama. Card Check is an issue that used to come up on these but now, after the efforts in Wisconsin and in many other states, this isn't even being discussed. I have been called a "racist" on just so many occasions because I question ACA and the union money that comes into the Obama campaign and because of presenting my beliefs with regard to illegal immigration. They say I hate "brown people" and am "anti-African American" just because of presenting unquestionable data with regard to crime statistics and welfare statistics and other entitlement information with regard to people that are other-than-whites on a percentage basis.

Yep. Being against Obama means you're "racist". It's the biggest "buzzword" the left uses against its detractors. It's actually all they have on just SO many issues.

We are not the only ones that get called the worst names possible because we don't agree with Obama's re-distributionist policies. That is the main reason I don't believe a lot of the polls. People are hesitant about telling someone else that they don't support Obama. All white men in the south, notice I said all, used to beat up little black children on their way to school, and throw their bibles in the creek. Anyone who doesn't agree 100% with Obama has to be one of those white men who did those horrible things. dap, I am starting to suspect that you might just have been one of those men. With the exception that you were not in the South in those days, I would believe you helped to harm those little black children. Isn't it funny how only people in the south hate black people. Move the same people up north and right away that hatred dissappears. I understand it's a carry over from the Civil War, you know that war that ended about 20 years ago. Still we have millions of white men roaming the streets who fought in that war. With that kind of hatred it could take almost 100 years to get over it, or at least allow everyone to die off who fought in that war. Perhaps in 2099 we can disagree with a black politician and not be a racist. Well maybe not.

The "race card" is a very strong tool to keep the minority democrats "in the fold". The democrats know this and use it regularly. "Too many black men in prison"...."Too many minorities on welfare"....."Crime in the black community is double white communities"....."Black high school graduation less than whites"....on and on, and it's all because of racism.

No way it's because of being responsible and a good citizen. Nah.

Sad.

As long as you can blame someone else for your problems, you never have to face them yourself.
