With all of the questions of unpaid taxes by Obama's cabinet and with the democrats having so many ethics problems with Blago and Easley and so forth...it never ceases to amaze me how the news media is so focused on Sarah Palin.  Every step she takes...every move she makes...anything "suspect"...it's nationwide news. 

Hopefully anyone considering running for prez with an "R" before his/her name in America will be intelligent enough to wait until the very last minute to announce lest he/she be innundated with so many negative presentations by the mainstream press. 

This is soooo ridiculous.  We've seen sooooooooo much corruption and lies and deceat by so many demos associated with Obama and they get a passing story (mostly defending them) in our news media.  Palin's family and everything she does is under extreme scrutiny.

I remember the day in 1986, when I discovered,"everything you read in the paper is not true". the Atlanta Constitution had a three page article, covering different state senate races. The section on Andrews- Colby from '84 was unreal. I thought, all these people don't know a thing about other states and they think every word is true. Just as the media made Ford, out to be a man who could not walk and chew gum at the same time, decades ago they just slanted the news. Then Clinton gave us "SPIN"  now they don't even bother with reality or truth. That is why for the last decade I try to watch everything I can Live.

As for NC, we might as well live in a news blackout zone. If you live in a rural area you have to put forth effort to find out what is going on in Raleigh, and then you have to look up the bills and budget office reports, to see if what you read is true. 

Republicans are held to a higher standard because we profess to have them.

In the new "eat your own in  the primary" GOP world ,we wonder why we keep losing. The press is pefercetly capable of manufacturing dirt on republicians, and as long as we keep doing the shoveling for them  they don't even have to do that

Her daughter is going around the country to hopefully tell her story to try to keep other girls from making the mistake she made.  Yeah...that's a horrible thing to do...Guess if a demo-daughter did it you'd be making her out to be Mary Magdalene or someone.

You asked why the media reports on Ms. Palin. Her daughter is one reason. Whether she's a role model or doing a good job isn't the point. We know about her abstinence crusade because the Palin's want you to know about it. Had it not been for Palin's reaction and subesquent tirade over David Letterman's stupid joke, I'd have never heard about it.

Believe me, Sarah Palin will continue to make up things to get herself in the news, in order to keep herself relevant. Of course you all will blame her need for publicity on that "mean ole liberal media."

And when the media does get tired of the Palin's you all will blame the lack of coverage on "the mean ole liberal media."
